He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Ainsworth and Avis Ainsworth. He is survived by: his children, Aidan and Addison; and his siblings, Robert (Elaine), Thomas (MaryAnne), Susan (Gary Smith), Donna (Don Voorheis), John (Sheryl), Alan and Tim. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

“It brings me great sorrow to learn of the passing of my friend Paul Ainsworth. Paul was kind compassionate person with a cheerful smile. We had good time playing summer soccer on the Brockport Westsiders back in the early 80s. Paul was a good player and fun to go out with after a game with the team. Whenever Paul and my paths would cross I enjoy chatting and having a few beers with him. I send my sorrow and deepest condolences to the Ainsworth family for the loss of your bother Paul. RIP Paul.”
