He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth; and his sister Rita Wolf. He is survived by: his wife Siony; his children, Scarlett Aeckerle, Karen Blossom (Gary Majchrzak) and John Aeckerle (Jill Hitchcock); and his grandchildren, Casey Benjamin, Evie and Eli Aeckerle.
