It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John J. McCarthy Jr. of Brockport, New York, born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on May 5, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father John "Jack" McCarthy, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Margaret "Peg" McCarthy of Orwell, NY; his siblings, James McCarthy (Deirdre) of Central Square, NY, Jerry McCarthy (Sandra) of Constantia, NY and Melanie Dunne (Daniel) of Greece, NY; his nephews, Jeremy, Cian, Jared and Shane McCarthy; his niece Mary Rogers; his great-niece Mia; and his brother Gary "Turk" Thomas.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 9, 2021 from 1 – 4 PM at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc., 340 West Ave., Brockport, NY 14420 where masks are required and social distancing protocols will be followed. Services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11 AM at Fowler Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will be held privately.
