She is survived by: her husband William Carter; her child Leaving; her grandchildren, Jo Ann Mayo, Richard, Jan (Donna), Mary Ellen Rich (Terry), Lawrence (Julie) and William (Norine); her great grandchildren, Felicia Rosenbaum, Melissa McConnell (Byron), Bryan (Valerie), Erin Warin (Chris), Donna Lucy Broughton (Brandon), Janet Lynn Jarman (Matthew), Catherine Christy (William), Cassandra Rich, Randall Rich (Carrie), Kate Carter (Amanda), Claire Green, Ryan, Janna Keefe (Nate), Jason (Christine) and Matthew (Michelle); her sister Patricia Barrus Lucero; and her sister-in-law Paula Barrus.
