He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George C Hansen and Irene Hansen; his wife Helen Briggs Hansen; his children, Daryl George Hansen, David Hansen (Elaine), Dale Hansen (Laurie) and Deborah Thomas (Gary); his daughter-in-law Rachel Hansen; his brother Allan Hansen (Mary Ann); and his siblings-in-law, William Briggs and Lois Briggs. He was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews and many wonderful loving friends.
