He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Patty Keady, Francis "Frank" Slingerland Jr. (Sue), Mary Johnson (Joel) and Denise Slingerland; and his brother Richard "Dick" Slingerland (Maureen). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
