He was predeceased by: his wife Cindy; his parents, John and Fernande; and his siblings, Tom (Velma) and Mary "Pat" Hoppe (John).

He is survived by: his sons, Derek (Christine) and Braden (Amber); his grandchildren, Meghan, Keegan and Ryan; and his siblings, Nancy Huttlinger, Eileen Magin, John Crowley (Nancy), Robert Crowley (Mary) and Ruth Burgart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
