He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl L. Conklin and Ruth Conklin (Brodie). He is survived by: his wife Donna Crawford; his cousin Bob; his daughter Heather Stanavich (John); his granddaughters, Emma, Amy and Sophia; his brother Carl L. Conklin (Carol); and his mother-in-law Claudia Crawford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in William's memory to the Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company, PO Box 295, Broadalbin, NY 12025.
