He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Warren Hoshlyk; his daughter Linda Hoshlyk; and his siblings, John Hoshlyk, Peter Hoshlyk, Nickolas Hoshlyk, Fred Hoshlyk, Anna Honeymar and Mary Kenney.

He is survived by: his parents, Nickolas Hoshlyk and Anna Damaski Hoshlyk; and his daughter Nancy Hoshlyk of Broadalbin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
