She was predeceased by: her parents, James Phillips and Charlotte Teller Snell; her husband Walter "Butch" Bruse; and her siblings, George "Skip" Phillips, Edna Sulem and Judith Rummler.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas J. Bruse of Broadalbin and Jamie Bruse of Broadalbin; her brother Ken Phillips of Portland, Oregon; and her pet Goldie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.; as well as her trusted pet.
