She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Briggs and Irma Briggs (Houser); her husband Elmer Van Hoesen; her daughter Denise Rava; and her siblings, Betty Bentley, Viola Joan Rowback, Judy Richtmyer, Shirley Ostrander, Leon "Butch" Briggs and Jeffrey Briggs.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Van Hoesen (Lisa), Tracy Van Hoesen, Kathy Towne (Dan) and Lauri Kazlauskas (Michael); her stepchildren, Bryan Van Hoesen and Connie Van Hoesen; and her siblings, William Briggs, Timothy Briggs (Cher), Janice St. Louis (Bill), RoseMary Carter (Tom), Jacqueline Fox (Ed) and Cheryl Palumbo (Rick). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
