She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Presper and Naydia Presper; and her husband Robert Smith, Sr.. She is survived by: her fiancé Andrew McPherson; her children, Robert J. Smith Jr. (Doreen) and Kellie Nevins; and her granddaughters, Lillian Grace Nevins and Allison Jay Nevins. She is also survived by several cousins and extended family.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Miss Fulton & Montgomery County Scholarship Organization.
