He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Byron and Jeannette Fenton Chapman; his spouse Beverlee Foss Cloutier Chapman; his siblings, Byron and Mary De Witt; his daughter Michele Cloutier; and his great grandchild Michele Jane-Marie Cloutier.
He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Van Genderen (David) of Broadalbin and Patrick Cloutier (Julie) of Granbury, TX. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Broadalbin Ecumenical Food Pantry, the Edinburg Volunteer Fire Dept., or the Broadalbin Kennyetto Fire Company, all in care of the funeral home.
