Benedict of Broadalbin, New York, born in Albany, New York, who passed away on February 23, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Benedict and Dawn Countyman Benedict; and his sister Penny Voyles. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Paige Benedict; his sons, Richard Gaumond (Nicole Stabinski) of Saratoga Springs and Jimmy Jason Benedict (Contessa Moyers) of New York; his foster daughter Tabitha Weldon of Schenectady; his siblings, Vernon Benedict of New York, Paul, Jerry Benedict of Florida, Buddy Benedict of North Carolina, Sharon Platt of Florida, Carol Sargent of Florida and Judy Benedict of Florida; and his grandchildren, Ashlie and Brandon. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
