He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Sr. and Mildred Benier (Taillon); his significant other Lois Foss Johnson; his children, Aline Babin (Guy), Kate Aarnio (Johan), Susan Primo (Joseph), David Bernier (MaryLynn) and Christopher Bernier; his brother Donald Bernier; his wife Marie Farnstrom Bernier; and his sister Ruth Bernart. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
