He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Beatty and Jean E. Beatty (Sheldon). He is survived by: his children, Jim Beatty (Kathy) of Manassas, VA, Scott Beatty (Cindy) of Ballston Lake, NY, Pam Fitzgerald (Paul Gerspach) of Lewiston, NY and Rebecca Beatty (Scott Livingston) of Mendon, NY; his siblings, Diane Ferguson of Broadalbin, NY and Gary Beatty of Winter Haven, FL; and his grandchildren, Brandon Beatty, Jillian Beatty, Kelsey Jones, Tyler Jones and Dillon Fitzgerald. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice or Saratoga County Animal Shelter.
