He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Gary Lee (Amy), Robert John (Rayleen) and Tammie Lynn Mace; his sister Joan Narrow of Myrtle Beach, SC; his siblings-in-law, Robert Hawthorne (Joan), Douglas Hawthorne (Dorothy), Elaine Langtry (Raymond), Kathleen Hunter (Pete) and Carol Hawthorne; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Julissa (Drew), Anthony, Julian, Katie, Matthew, Morgan, Doug (Paige) and Lauren (Adam); his great grandchildren, Clara Belle Mace, Ashton, Alex Rogers and Camilus Horn; his godchildren, Kevin, Dan Mace, Robyn Bickelhaupt and Roni Dickhout; his daughters, Joni and Janie; his brother Jerry Lee Mace; and his parents, Maurice Mace and Daisy Mace.
