She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald H. Swanson and Lily Swanson; her brother Donald R. Swanson; and her close friend Charles Ackerson. She is survived by: her favorite author Danielle Steel; her sons, Donald Steele of Bridgeport, NY and Brian Steele (Anne) of North Syracuse, NY; and her brother Bruce Swanson (Juel) of Camden, NY. She is also survived by nephews, a niece.
