He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore Donzella and Mary Donzella (DeSalvo); and his brother Samuel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia H. Donzella (Wilbur); his children, Nikkole, Emily Donzella and Christopher Donzella; and his brother Benjamin Donzella (Red). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
