It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Halsey Conklin (Bridgehampton, New York), who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis and Anna; his siblings, Nancy Halsey and Thomas; and his nephew Lee Halsey.
He is survived by: his significant other Mark Marei; his sister Ellen Subin; his sister-in-law Margaret Conklin; his nieces and nephews, Melanie Yanus (Richard), Diana Conklin, Erin Conklin Whitmore (Gregory), Tom Conklin and Ross Conklin (Jennifer); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Grace Conklin, Lilly Conklin, Aaron Halsey, David Conklin, Samuel Conklin and Bradley Halsey (Robin); and also, Elizabeth, Charlotte Halsey and Harrison Halsey.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any contributions be made to either the Bridgehampton Fire Department or ARF of the Hamptons.
