She is survived by: her children, Christian and Susan Proano; her children-in-law, Cigdem, Alex and Marni; and her grandchildren, Julia, Sofia, Sebastian and Grace. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to St. Joseph's Church, Bronxville, or St. Augustine Church, Ossining.
