He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Greiter and Florence Greiter (Letty); and his brother Donald. He is survived by : his children, William of Verona, WI, Jeanne Fine of Holiday, FL, Peggy Neill of Carrollton, TX, Charles "Chip" (Sue) of Celebration, FL and Mary Beth Miotto (Peter) of Northborough, MA. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Mary Jeanne Greiter Memorial Scholarship Fund at Williams College.
