She is survived by: her children, Charita Peterson (Daniel Hankinson), Jeremiah Peterson and Patricia Peterson; her goddaughter Candace Spann; her grandchildren, Stefon Peterson, Dayja Peterson, Janeah Peterson, Alexis Collins, Jason Cook, Symiah Peterson, Gavin Peterson and Sayanna Lopez; and her siblings, Marsha and Rochester. She is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
