Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Beecher Funeral Home (1 Putnam Ave, Brewster, NY 10509).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Friends of The Great Swamp (FROGS), a non-profit volunteer organization founded in 1990 on the premise of preserving and protecting the Great Swamp watershed through education, research, and conservation.

“Joe--the only name I knew for him--was always in attendance at the Boogie, the homegrown music festival held each year in July. When he first greeted me, what I saw was a giant teddy bear--big beard and big bass voice, and usually playing the ukulele. He was warm and genial, always welcoming. We will miss you Joe.
