We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 91, Helen P. Costello (Brewster, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Helen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Helen has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Palmer and William Palmer; her husband John'Jack'Costello Jr.; and her brothers, William of Yonkers, NY and Robert of Florida.
She is survived by: her children, Cathleen Smith (Eddie), Caren Callaway (Rick), John Costello and James Costello (Katrina).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Beecher Funeral Home (1 Putnam Ave, Brewster, NY 10509). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Lawrence O'Toole Catholic Church (31 Prospect St, Brewster, NY 10509). A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery (780 NY-22, Brewster, NY 10509).
