He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Latus and Frederick Latus; his siblings, Marjorie Latus and Frederick Latus Jr.; and his brother-in-law Tom Shedlock.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Crowell; his children, Monica Freer (Roy) and Stephen Latus (Grace); and his siblings-in-law, Ellen Latus and Tom Rasmussen. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews and 25 great-nieces and great-nephews.
