He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard "Bill" Bettinger and Janet Towne Bettinger; his wife Christine Bettinger of Orwell; his children, Sheila Kelliher (Ted) of Stephens City, VA and Jason Bettinger (Shauna) of Blythewood, SC; his grandchildren, Owen, Lucas, Joseph and Rachel; and his siblings, Patrick Bettinger (Carolyn) of Boylston, Rebecca Artessa of Syracuse, David Bettinger (Janelle) of Sandy Pond, Abby Colvin (Steven) of Sandy Pond and Karyl Moyer. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
