He is survived by: his wife Daina Pohopek-Sweet; his daughter Amanda Taylor; his stepdaughter Kara Raymond; his parents, Frank Sweet and Sandy Sweet; and his sisters, Michelle Crawford (Dave), Kathleen Sangalli (Glenn) and Melanie Smith. He is also survived by step-grandson, many nieces and nephews.
