In the sacred silence of farewell, Michael is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Michael's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Karen J. Petecca; his children, Tristen N. Bonavita (Louis) and Thomas A. Petecca; his grandchildren, Rowan J. Tagliaferri, Giavanna M. Bonavita, Elijah R. Bonavita and Mylah L. Bonavita; and his siblings, Anthony Petecca, Joseph Petecca (Annmarie) and Thomas Petecca.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:20 PM at the Albrecht, Bruno & O'shea Funeal Homes, Inc. (62 Carleton Ave, East Islip, NY 11730).
