He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Marina. He is survived by: his wife Rebeca Melendez; his children, Miriam Melendez, Danny Melendez, Justina Melendez, Lucy Barrera and Felix Joel Melendez; and his siblings, Santos, Josian and Cruz Melendez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Michael J. Grant Funeral Home (571 Suffolk Ave, Brentwood, NY 11717). A prayer will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location.
