With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chris J Allen of Brentwood, New York, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George and Joan; his wife Linda Allen; his son Christopher Allen; his sister Kathleen Mellace; his brother-in-law Rich Mellace; his niece Amanda Mellace; his sisters, Pat Wecera, Jean Peters and Donna Barget; his nieces and nephews, Joe Peters, Kevin Peters, Ryan Peters, Eddie Wecera, Ricky Wecera, Kallie Vencak and Nicolas Williamoski; and his great-niece Malana Vencak.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Michael J. Grant Funeral Home (571 Suffolk Ave, Brentwood, NY 11717). A wake was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:15 AM to 9:25 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at the St Anne RC Church (88 Second Ave, Brentwood, NY 11717). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the St Patrick Cemetery (225 Brentwood Rd, Bay Shore, NY 11706).
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Chris's name to the Islip Town Fireman Museum.
