She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Hughes and Helen Hughes (McManus); her daughter Helene Kennelly; her grandchildren, Matthew, Daniel, Lauren, Kevin, Tom, Martha, Tommy, Joseph and Luke; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Olivia, McKensie, Fiona and Jamie; her husband Tom; and her brothers, Joseph and William. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Inc. (3024 Quentin Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11234). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More R. C. Church (204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd., Rockaway Point, New York 11697). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (3620 Tilden Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11203).
