He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta DeRosa McGorty; his son-in-law Michael Lynch; and his brother-in-law John T. Kelly. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Lynch, Edward McGorty (Eleanor) and Kelly Anne Elberkaoui (Younes); his granddaughters, Caroline, Emma, Elle Venus and Eden; and his sisters, Marianne Kelly and Ann McGorty.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (204-25 Rockaway Point Blvd, Breezy Point, NY 11697).
