She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elliott and Catherine Elliott (Moriarty); her daughter Sheila Gliha; her grandsons, Ricky Durkin, Matthew Gliha and Cody O'Connor; and her siblings, Bernice Savage, John Howard Elliott and Helen Brown.

She is survived by: her spouse Harlow O. Durkin; her children, John R. Durkin, Barbara Durkin of Brasher Falls, Philip Durkin, Kathy Durkin of Malone, Maureen Perkins, Ralph Perkins of Baldwinsville, Erin O'Connor and Keith O'Connor of Moira; her son-in-law Edward Gliha of Bainbridge; and her sister Shirley Johnson of Chasm Falls. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
