The memory of Lila J. Fiske of Brasher Falls, New York, who passed away on October 28, 2024 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Monica and Dorothy Monica (Brown); her husband Merle Fiske (Pete); and her siblings, Erma Webb, Marvel Monica, Edna Monica and Rita Monica.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin of Winthrop, NY, Kelly (David) of Interlaken, NY and Kyle of Rockport, MA; her grandchildren, Emily Kimble (Todd) of Brasher Falls, NY and Andrew Fiske (Ellen) of Brasher Falls; her great grandchildren, Emmalyn Mary, Eden Monica Kimble, Scarlett Anne and Benjamin Andrew Fiske; and her sister Neva Cross. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hammill Funeral Home (653 NY-11C, Winthrop, NY 13697). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hopkinton-Fort Jackson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, in Potsdam, the Brasher Falls United Methodist Church, or to Tri-Town Volunteer Rescue, in Brasher Falls.
