We are sad to announce that on November 18, 2021, James J. Ryan Sr. of Brasher Falls, New York, born in Potsdam, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas P. Ryan and Viola E. Ryan (Doutre); his wife Marie A. LaPrade; his siblings, John "Johnny" Ryan, Thomas Ryan II, Susan Irwin and Mary Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Kaeli and Taryn.
He is survived by: his children, Debra (Dale Cook), James (Tammy Ryan), Peggy (Todd Dewar), Diane (Mark McVay), Kelley (Don McCormick) and Gina Ryan of Brasher Falls; his siblings, Nancy, Greg Roark and Patricia Baggett of Brasher Falls; his grandchildren, Adam, Jayme, Amber, Robbie, Kelley, Kimber, Logan, Lauren, Kristi, Jordan, Kendra, Donnie, Steven, Joshua, Bri, Curran and Caeden; and his great great grandchild Brian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
