He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gerald "Peanut" and Margaret A. Burns (Potter); and his wife Margaret M. Laforce. He is survived by: his children, Susan Arquiett (Michael) of Brasher Falls, Aaron Burns of Charlotte, NC and Carol Carney of Massena; his siblings, Jane Lantry of Brasher Falls, John Burns (Denise) of Brasher Falls and Kathy LaForce (John) of Chase Mills; his aunt Katherine Foley of Massena; his grandchildren, Erin Graves, Zachary and Lukas Arquiett; and his great grandchildren, Savanna Graves, Harper, Hadley and Asher Arquiett. He is also survived by many friends, nieces, nephews and other family members.
