He was predeceased by: his parent Jose M. Tavares, Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Beatriz Tavares (Fernandes); his significant other Kimm Schlobohm; his sister Jacqueline T. Scungio (Thomas) of Rehoboth; his niece Lauren Scungio; and his nephew Michael Scungio. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
