John Botsford Wilder Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Botsford Wilder of Branchport, New York, born in Englewood, New Jersey, who passed away on December 31, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Botsford and Hugo T. Wilder; his wife Joan Shoemaker; and his brother Arthur H. Wilder. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth "Beth" Wilder of Oneonta, NY and Susan Doelp (John) of Darien, CT; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Wilder (Eva Marie) of Walworth, Amanda Lynch (Jimmy), John Doelp II, Jacob Wilder and Arthur Doelp; his great grandchildren, Caeden James Lynch and Ellis John Lynch; his sister-in-law Kay Wilder; and his cousin Jo Ansley Kendig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
