Francis Best Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Best of Branchport, New York, born in Penn Yan, New York, who passed away on April 5, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Francis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Francis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Best and Ada Best (Housel); and his wife Wannetta Best. He is survived by: his son Andrew W. Best (Tiffany); his stepchildren, Johanna R. Bryan (Robert), Timothy Hill and Christine; and his brother Richard E. Best (Kathleen). He is also survived by Twelve grandchildren; Nineteen Great Grandchildren.
