It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David L. Hammond of Bradford, New York, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David L. Hammond to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hammond and Rena Hammond (Perry). He is survived by: his children, Michael Hammond (Lisa) and Michele Makitra (Adam); his grandchildren, Alec, Allissa, Connor and Jayce; and his siblings, Cheryl Hiltbrand (Steve), John Hammond (Carol), Cindy Glick (Tim) and Melody Czopkiewicz (Gary). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Bradford Baptist Church (2788 Yawger Hill Rd, Bradford, NY 14815). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bradford Cemetery (9812 Co Rd 16, Bradford, NY 14815).
The family requests contributions be made to the Hammond family to assist with unforeseen expenses during this difficult time.
