She was predeceased by: her son James Edel II; and her brother Raymond Kolodziej. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rick" Chaffee; and her children, Stephen Edel, Veronica Witt and Jennifer Flint (Tom). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, and two nieces.
