He was predeceased by: his sibling Jean Coffed (William). He is survived by: his spouse Emmylou Hess (Endres); his children, David Hess (Beth Ann), Jennifer Vacanti and Rebecca Sievers (Mike); his grandchildren, Austin, Colin Hess, Shawn, Nick Vacanti, Brandon Smith, Mitchel, Rachael and Tyler Sievers; his great grandchild Aubrey Sievers; and his siblings, Joan Miller (late Donald) and Robert Hess (Sally). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
