It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard J. Cairns of Bovina Center, New York, born in Andes, New York, who passed away on February 19, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cairns and Mae Cairns (Fisher). He is survived by: his wife Lillian Ann Cairns; his children, John Cairns (Nancy) of Saratoga Springs, Margi Reither (Scott) of Farmville, NC and Jeffrey Cairns (Heather) of Wallingford, VT; his grandchildren, Zachary, Michael, Morgan, Madison (Mark), Megan and Linden; his great grandchild Aurora; and his sisters, Gladys Platania of North Carolina and Dawn Clark of South Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
