Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet Stewart (Bovina Center, New York), born in Margaretville, New York, who passed away at the age of 83, on January 2, 2019. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Havens and Gracia Havens (Warren); her daughter Christine Comfort; and her siblings, Robbie, Warren and Doris.
She is survived by: her husband Lester Stewart of Bovina Center; her children, Connie Finkle of Bovina Center, Carol Hall of Bloomville, Cathy Balcom (Michael Mattson) of Downsville and Cliff Stewart (Ellen) of Bovina Center; her son-in-law John Comfort; and her sister Jeanne Bush of Walton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Janet may be made to the Bovina EMS or the Bovina Untied Presbyterian Church.
