It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve M. Johnson of Bouckville, New York, who passed away on April 28, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wincenty Zombek and Jadwiga Bladek Zombek; her husband John H. Johnson; her daughter Joan; her siblings, Andrew, Joseph, Edward, John, Stanley, Wanda Socha, Veronica Spooner and Helen Krupa; and her siblings-in-law, Irene Cobb, Betty Zombek and Donald Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ellen (James Brown) of Bouckville and Dr. John A. Johnson of Harlem, GA; her grandsons, Stephen Brown (Tina), Jonathan Brown, Michael Brown and Anthony Alvarado; her great grandchildren, Allison Brown and Jamie Brown; and her sister-in-law Julie Zombek. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
