He was predeceased by: his parents, James Kent and Jean Kent (Dupre); his grandparents, Arthur, Ruth Dupre, Raymond and Dorothy Kent; his in-laws, Erwin (Butch) and Eleanor Hall; and his brother-in-law Douglas Frankum.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Hall (Laurie); his children, Joshua, Jared Kent and Jenna Kent; his siblings, Linda Webster (Al), Michael Kent (Lillian) and Dianna Brockway (James); and his siblings-in-law, Ben Hall, Kit Hall (Gloria), Andy Hall (Debbie), Tim Hall (Linda) and Dianne Frankum. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
