He was predeceased by: his father Raymond D. Powell; his brother James Powell; his wife Sharon Powell (Wilburn); and his brother-in-law Philip "Skip" Gaetano. He is survived by: his mother Dolores E. Sawyer Powell (Dolly); his son Todd Powell; his granddaughters, Harley of Evans Mills and Emily Powell of Evans Mills; his siblings, Michelle Gaetano (Micky) of Boonville, Rene Stocklosa (Tom) of Boonville and Ned O'Brien (Vicki); his close friend Ronna Gaetano; his aunt Laura "Peg" Sawyer; and his former wife Sue McIlroy (Munn) of Alex Bay. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. (143 Schuyler St, Boonville, NY 13309).
