She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Newcomb and Charlotte McGlynn Newcomb; her daughter Sandy L. Thorna Henjum; and her siblings, Tom Newcomb, Babe Newcomb and Betty Newcomb.
She is survived by: her former husband Paul X. Thorna; her husband Ralph W. Alvarez; her children, Paul D. Thorna of Oneida and Terri A. Thorna (Kevin Zeigler) of Boonville; her sister Nancy Ginter of Oneida; her sister-in-law Jane Newcomb of Clinton; and her grandchildren, Katie Roach, Connor Roach, Scott Weaver II and Stephanie M. Clapper. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral home staff respectively asks you to wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing protocols within the church.
