He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Mercer and Gladys Biccum Mercer; his wife Linda Spooner; his children, Patrick J. Mercer (Katrina), Bonnie M. LaBarr (Jerry), Wilton and Jeffery J. Mercer; his grandchildren, Kayla, Megan, Jacob, Jordan Mercer, Ashley Crouch (Jonathan), James and Morgan Labarr; his great grandchildren, Jonathan, Colton Crouch and Mila LaBarr; his sisters, Mary Wetmore (Robert) of Largo, FL, Ruth Martin (Jane Strickland) of Largo, FL and Seminole; his sister-in-law Betsy Mercer; and his brother Robert. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
